About The Position

Echo NDE, a subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation, specializes in non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services across North America for the facility and pipeline sectors. We are seeking CGSB-certified UT/MT Technicians with IRATA certification for project-based roles supporting long-term projects at client sites throughout Alberta. Requirements

  • Current CGSB UT1 or UT2 certification
  • Current IRATA certification with proof of logged hours.
  • Experience performing NDE/NDT inspections while utilizing rope access techniques in industrial environments.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Exceptional safety awareness with a commitment to following company and client safety procedures.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of technical performance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Alberta to support operations at various client sites.
  • Comfortable working in both camp-based and hotel-based accommodations, depending on project requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required to support project schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional CGSB certifications are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Perform inspections while utilizing rope access techniques (IRATA) as required, as well as through conventional access methods where applicable.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate inspection results while meeting project schedules and safety objectives.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Adhere to all company, client, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Complete inspection reports and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in equipment inspections, maintenance, and daily pre-use checks to ensure operational readiness.
