This position involves completing designated cashier and closing reports, reviewing shift logs, and documenting pertinent information. The supervisor will resolve guest issues by contacting appropriate departments, process guest check-ins by verifying reservations and identity, assigning rooms, and issuing keys. They will also sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability, ensuring rates are accurate and exceptions are documented. Additionally, the role includes processing checks from outlets and charging them to rooms. The supervisor will assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. This role requires reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards are essential. The position also involves anticipating and addressing guest needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation. Communication skills are important, including speaking clearly and professionally and answering telephones with proper etiquette. Developing positive working relationships and ensuring adherence to quality standards are also key responsibilities. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and performing tasks that involve moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by supervisors.
