About The Position

Omni San Francisco Hotel is seeking a Rooms Guest Service - Doorperson to provide an exceptional arrival and departure experience for guests. This role involves managing traffic at the front of the hotel, coordinating with other departments for luggage and vehicle delivery, and maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel's exterior. The ideal candidate will have a high propensity for customer service, be willing to work in various weather conditions and extended hours when needed, and be able to stand for an entire shift, walk, run, bend, push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weight. The work environment includes the interior and exterior of the hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Requirements

  • Maintain a high propensity for customer service.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when needed, depending on business demands.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift.
  • Ability to walk, run, bend, push, pull and lift moderate to heavy weight.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests in a friendly, warm manner welcoming them to the Hotel.
  • Provide our guests with an exceptional arrival and departure experience that makes them feel welcome.
  • Engages the guest to provide superior guest service.
  • Manages the traffic at the front of the hotel.
  • Coordinates activity in the drive with the Bell Attendant to ensure timely delivery of luggage and Valet Attendants of guest vehicles.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the front of the hotel.
  • Notifies the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
  • Loads the baggage in the cars or taxis for departing guests
  • Maintains a clean and orderly appearance of the work area at all times.
  • Understand all emergency procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
