This position involves responding promptly to guest requests and those from other departments. The attendant will fill carts with supplies, transport them to assigned areas, and enter guest rooms following established procedures. Key duties include replacing guest amenities and supplies, changing linens and terry, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash and room service items, checking appliance functionality, tidying rooms, dusting and polishing, and performing floor care such as vacuuming carpets. The role also requires adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. A professional appearance and maintaining confidentiality are essential. The attendant must welcome and assist guests, anticipate their needs, and provide service with genuine appreciation, using clear and professional language. Supporting team goals and meeting quality standards are also part of the role. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds independently and over 25 pounds with assistance, push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart, reach, bend, twist, and perform floor care duties. Extended periods of standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking are expected, along with manipulating objects of varying size and weight with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors may be assigned.
