About The Position

The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service to guests, maintaining assigned floors, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Requirements

  • Minimum six (6) months of related experience required.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
  • Drivers of company vehicles must have a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements/standards listed on the Motor Vehicle Permit Application provided by Hard Rock.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Able to handle stress arising from management of operations and volume of work.
  • Must be twenty one (21) years of age or older.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to be punctual and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, friendly, courteous service to all food and beverage guests.
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages, amenities to guest’s rooms as well as designated areas within the hotel and casino.
  • Monitor accuracy of the order and reviews the order with the guest to ensure guests received the proper order.
  • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions.
  • Speak to guests’ and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Monitor guest room corridors for obstructions, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Complete open and closing side duties during the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean as you go procedures.
  • Notify management of maintenance repair issues.
  • Complete any additional reasonable requests by management.
