About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Room Service server is to effectively deliver Food and Beverage products in a timely fashion according to specific Standard Operating Procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 months related experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines
  • Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely

Responsibilities

  • Driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle, following safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obeying all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, using a seat belt, and following Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy.
  • Reporting any accidents immediately and cooperating fully with insurance claims investigations.
  • Greeting Member/Guest in a timely, friendly, professional manner, using Member/Guest's name at least three times during service period.
  • Efficiently delivering and serving food and/or beverage orders.
  • Retrieving previously delivered items from rooms.
  • Being knowledgeable of menu items, preparation and prices.
  • Being responsible for the financial accounting of each ticket according to established procedures.
  • Proper use of Micros system (When applicable).
  • Responding to and informing supervisor of any Member/Guest questions, complaints and suggestions.
  • Attending Resort training classes as required.
  • Attending outlet staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Performing assigned side work.
  • Checking out with supervisor.
  • Being available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels.
  • Working holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.
