About The Position

Provide a luxury in-room dining experience for guests. This role involves delivering food and beverages, upselling, and presenting deliveries while adhering to Forbes standards of hospitality. The position is critical for maintaining the luxury standards and expectations of The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, requiring the highest levels of discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have ability to perform daily work at a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to take direction well.
• Must have keen attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must have professional appearance and behavior.
• Must have interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have proficient technology skills on the POS system.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TABC and Food Handler’s Certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One-year previous Room service server experience in Hotel Room Service

Responsibilities

• Must be able set up tables for the order.
• Must be able to deliver food and drink to the guests in room or outside by the pool.
• Other duties as assigned.
