About The Position

This position is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and upholding 4-star service standards. The Room Service Attendant will communicate professionally with guests and co-workers, be knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu, take accurate orders, and ensure timely meal delivery. This role also involves entering orders into the point-of-sale system, problem-solving, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties also include attending to mini-bars and performing other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
  • Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
  • Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
  • One (1) or more years of recent and related food and beverage experience, preferably within a hospitality or gaming environment.
  • Experience in order taking and cashiering is preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
  • Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
  • Working in a small, confined area used to prepare food with floors that may become slippery.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment.
  • A flexible workweek with additional hours occasionally required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of customer service and uphold 4-star service standards.
  • Develop good relationships with guests and co-workers through excellent communication.
  • Communicate professionally and accurately with guests and co-workers, both over the phone and in person.
  • Be extremely knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu to answer guest questions.
  • Take complete and accurate orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about in-room dining meal delivery.
  • Enter in-room dining orders into the point-of-sale system.
  • Prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Address guest concerns effectively and timely, and escalate as appropriate.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Attend to Mini Bars.
  • Perform other duties, including special projects, as needed or requested.
