About The Position

This position is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and upholding 4-star service standards. The Room Service Attendant will communicate professionally with guests and co-workers, be knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu, take accurate orders, and ensure timely meal delivery. This role also involves entering orders into the point-of-sale system, problem-solving, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties also include attending to mini-bars and performing other assigned tasks.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry.
Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
One (1) or more years of recent and related food and beverage experience, preferably within a hospitality or gaming environment.
Experience in order taking and cashiering is preferred.
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.
Excellent customer service skills.
Frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
Working in a small, confined area used to prepare food with floors that may become slippery.
Lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment.
A flexible workweek with additional hours occasionally required.

Be extremely knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu to answer guest questions.
Take complete and accurate orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
Provide guests with accurate information about in-room dining meal delivery.
Enter in-room dining orders into the point-of-sale system.
Prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Address guest concerns effectively and timely, and escalate as appropriate.
Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
Attend to Mini Bars.
Perform other duties, including special projects, as needed or requested.
