About The Position

Room Cleaners are responsible for ensuring a high-level of cleaning service to provide the best in-room experience for guests, making them feel like part of the Campbell's Family. This role involves cleaning guest rooms, conference rooms, restaurant areas, and public spaces to ensure they are clean and comfortable. Room Cleaners must be prepared to start their shift on time with all necessary supplies, restock carts and closets, and assist with public area cleaning if rooms are not immediately available. They are also required to report any observed damage or suspicious activity and may occasionally work in teams where their work is reviewed.

Requirements

Ability to make decisions and be adaptable to work in a team in a good working environment.
Verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to safely operate machinery (vacuum cleaner).
Power and understand service manuals.
Be able to carefully load 50 lbs.
Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without help.
Skills of climbing stairs with loads lifting objects above your head, stooping, kneeling, and stretching carefully.
Ability to provide fast service and the ability to maintain your stress.
Motivation to serve the public; can find jobs to do without being constantly supervised.
Must possess and be able to maintain a positive and optimistic personality throughout the shift with a passion for excellent customer service.
Always have respect for the staff.
Flexible and willing to learn to do new jobs.
Walk for long periods of time (up to 8 to 10 hours).
Good hygiene and personal hygiene.
Do not be allergic to cleaning chemicals.
Possess the ability to manage your time effectively.
Complete the room in detail.
Skills to fill documentations in English and Spanish.
Must be able to pass a mandatory background check of the company.
Be at least 18 years old.
Walk for long periods of 8 hrs. up to 10 hours.
Constantly push, pull, bend, reach, lift, bend, and kneel.
Able to safely lift 60 lbs.
Climbing stairs constantly.

Responsibilities

Clock in five minutes before the shift starts with all supplies ready.
Restock carts and closets before beginning on assigned floor(s).
Help clean public areas if no rooms are available to be cleaned.
Report any damage or suspicious activity observed.
Work in teams where another room cleaner will overlook your work.
Get to work in a clean uniform and ready to work.
Clock in and fix work tools to get ready.
Clean rooms and other assigned areas, keeping all work areas clean.
Be familiar with and follow procedures in the list of work levels and the housekeeping manual.
Be trained in laundry and other areas.
Create an atmosphere that makes Campbell's a pleasant place to work.
Be a team player, showing enthusiasm while helping others.
Work in both Campbell’s Resort and Midtowner Motel.
Clean rooms including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors; cleaning mirrors, bathrooms, walls, tubs, cabinet doors, dishes, stoves, ovens, and terraces.
Change sheets and towels.
Clean windows inside and outside.
Take out trash and recycle.
Organize closets and refill carts.
Refill bottles with liquids and arrange them in their respective places at the end of the day.
Have daily responsibility for assigned area, including cleaning rooms.
Work on both Campbell’s and Midtowner properties with the same standards.
Answer guest questions and have knowledge about property services and opportunities at Lake Chelan.
Be attentive to customer needs and do whatever it takes to meet those needs.
Act as a team member, show motivation and help other employees to ensure guest satisfaction.
Be a good example for other employees.
Follow work standards procedure at the end of the shift.
Suggest to the manager who is concerned with improving other duties that may be required.
