About The Position

As a Room Attendant, your primary duties will be centered around maintaining the beauty and charm of our guest lodging and surrounding facilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation of guest housing, lodges, and public areas, responding to guests’ needs, and ensuring and coordinating the laundering of guest linens. You will coordinate the timely return of all lost and found items to the front desk, coordinate with the front desk regarding guest room status, and maintain knowledge of arrivals/departures and stay-overs for each day. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on the most efficient eco-friendly cleaning supplies, maintain knowledge of handling hazardous materials, report maintenance issues, and inform Management of any guest-related issues. Maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests is crucial, as is coordinating annual deep cleaning of guest facilities and off-season cleaning of seasonal employee housing. All other duties as assigned. This is not a management or supervisory position.

Requirements

  • You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous housekeeping in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
  • Familiarity with eco-conscious or sustainable practices.
  • You’re alert, friendly and eager to assist guests politely and promptly.
  • You demonstrate care and compassion for team members, putting the needs of the team before your own.
  • You’re self-directed, energetic, and motivated with multi-tasking capabilities.
