Room Attendant Salary range - $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (experience-based compensation) Position Summary Our Room Attendants are dedicated to ensuring the comprehensive cleanliness and meticulous preparation of guest rooms and suites. Requirements

  • Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, and move continuously during the workday.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and suites, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
  • Replenish and restock room amenities, including paper products, soap, and towels.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of exterior entry areas and hallways.
  • Restock and organize housekeeping carts daily.
  • Administer key control for issued keys and manage keys left by guests.
  • Deliver lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper for logging and storage.
  • Report any unusual situations in guest rooms or suites to the Executive Housekeeper immediately.
  • Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
  • Accommodate special requests from guests.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and suites.
  • Keep linen closets and supply areas organized and tidy.
  • Report maintenance needs and address guest requests or complaints promptly.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and work rules as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Be flexible with work schedules to meet the hotel's 24/7 demands.
