About The Position
Wayfinder Waikiki is seeking individuals who take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and dedication to maintaining clean, comfortable guest rooms. Housekeeping truly is the “Heart of the House,” providing essential services that allow our guests to relax and fully enjoy their stay. A strong housekeeping team can turn a guest’s experience from good to outstanding.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Flexible with scheduling; availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Clean and vacuum guest rooms thoroughly to meet high cleanliness standards
- Collect and transport soiled linens for laundering
- Make beds and ensure rooms are neat, orderly, and guest-ready
- Restock room supplies and amenities (e.g., toiletries, towels, beverages)
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concerns
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere in all guest rooms
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping Director.
