About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests. You will create a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get some last-minute work done. You will make sure our rooms are always at their best, making each room special and memorable for guests. You will also be happy to help guests with requests like a toothbrush or directions. You will keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed. You will follow established safety procedures at all times and wear protective equipment when needed. You will keep on top of supplies and amenities, always trying to minimize waste. You will reunite lost items with their owners and log any lost and found property. You will wear your uniform with pride. You may also be asked to assist with other ad-hoc duties, deep cleaning projects, or turndown duties.

Requirements

Physical fitness as the role requires being on your feet most of the day.
Strength to occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pull heavy objects.
Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Flexible attitude to shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure rooms and suites are always at their best, making them special and memorable for guests.
Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and report any needed repairs.
Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
Regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May have turndown duties.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
