About The Position

We are looking for Room Attendants to join our Team! Our spacious Homewood Suites by Hilton is just off I-290, the University of Buffalo is one mile away and we’re two miles from Boulevard Mall. Walden Galleria is seven miles south and we’re 20 minutes from The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. We are an extended stay hotel and we offer a choice of 93 spacious suites with full kitchens to our guests. A great place to stay, a great place to work. The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Amherst is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.
A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
• An engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
• Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
• Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
