About The Position

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. Sea Palms Resort features 123 rooms, an 18 hole golf course, and a full service on-site restaurant. Nestled in the heart of St. Simons Island, our marshfront resort is a sanctuary of tranquility, designed to provide an escape from the ordinary and a gateway to unforgettable memories. Sea Palms Resort, managed by Raines Co., welcomes all individuals who have the ability to extend the warmth of hospitality to our members and guest.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest-related positions
• Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment
• Experience with specific Brand as it applies
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Pre-employment background check required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry as a room attendant preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and responding to requests
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest rooms
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Vacuuming carpets
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Emptying trash containers
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Updating status of guest rooms on assignment board
• Restocking cleaning cart and/or supplies
• Follow all health and safety rules
• Attends meetings as required
