About The Position

Performs the daily cleaning of guest rooms in the Lodge/Cottages/Inn. Completes all tasks in accordance with the guideline for performance standards and safety established by the housekeeping department. The work environment includes lodge and Inn guest rooms. Some cleaning agents and chemicals may be hazardous if improperly used or if contact with skin, eyes or clothing occurs; some heavy lifting, bending and kneeling. Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must have ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
• Congeniality, self-motivated, good people skills, strong ability to adapt and accept changes.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license is a plus.
• Experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests with proper salutation.
• Ability to clean guest’s rooms to meet Skytop’s standards.
• Meet the high standards for the cleanliness and appearance of guestrooms.
• Responsible for completing at least 12 guestrooms.
• Ability to use equipment, household type vacuums, dust mops and high dusters and chemicals.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Observe and report the need to repair equipment, furniture, building or fixtures to Maintenance by calling the Front Desk.
