The Room Attendant ("Recamarero/a") performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. This role requires presenting a positive and professional image of the property by demonstrating courtesy, honesty, and friendliness always. The attendant will proactively engage with guests, responding promptly and professionally to requests or concerns, and maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned guest rooms. Responsibilities include replenishing in-room amenities and supplies, reporting maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items promptly, and maintaining linen rooms and housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and orderly condition. The role also involves accurately documenting room status and linen usage, performing scheduled deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning assignments, handling special guest cleaning requests efficiently, and ensuring all lost-and-found items are turned in immediately. Following all safety, security, and sanitation standards and procedures is crucial, as is ensuring guestroom access is limited to registered guests only. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence are expected, along with performing additional duties as directed by the leadership team.
