About The Position
The Room Attendant at Residence Inn Morgan Hill is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. The role includes preparing housekeeping carts, cleaning guestrooms and shared areas, replenishing supplies, reporting missing items and maintenance issues, and supporting overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and guests at all levels in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
- Complete pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
- Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
- Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
- Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day's use.
- Replenish chemical bottles.
- Report missing items from rooms, such as irons, ironing boards, and hair dryers, to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
- Report maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
- Handle lost-and-found items according to standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
