About The Position
National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Room Attendant and Kitchen Steward for its Oak Brook, IL location. We are looking for individuals to join our team and contribute to our commitment to providing excellent facility management services.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Must have two valid forms of IDs.
- Own transportation to get to work on time.
- Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with housekeeping, room cleaning, kitchen sanitation, or related hospitality services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, and sinks.
- Sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpets.
- Strip used bed linens, sanitize mattresses, and neatly make beds with fresh linens.
- Refill empty dispensers with shampoo, lotion, and soap.
- Restock coffee, glasses, and minibar items.
- Prepare and load cleaning carts with fresh towels, linens, and cleaning supplies at the start of each shift.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
- Scrub and sanitize food preparation surfaces, sinks, ovens, and grills to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Restock clean plates, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure chefs have necessary supplies during busy shifts.
- Remove trash and organize recycling bins.
- Provide additional kitchen support as required by the Chef or Supervisor.
