About The Position

Homewood Suites by Hilton in Sarasota, FL is seeking Room Attendants to join their Housekeeping Team. This all-suite hotel, managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, is conveniently located near I-75, Nathan Benderson Park, and The Mall at University Town Center. The Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites, ensuring a high standard of quality and customer service. This role involves cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, reporting issues to supervisors, and responding to guest requests. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
• Engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service.
• Clean floors, vacuum, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
• Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
