  • Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and required fall-protection equipment.
  • Ability to work on roofs, climb ladders, lift and carry materials and tools, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to independently assess visible conditions, follow assigned repair scope, and recognize when escalation is required.
  • Clear written communication skills for concise service notes and photo documentation.
  • Professional customer-service approach and ability to work respectfully at occupied residential properties.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle-insurance requirements.
  • Ability to use a smartphone or company-approved mobile device for photos, work orders, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate accessible roofing components as applicable, including shingles, underlayment, flashing, pipe boots, valleys, ridge and intake ventilation, penetrations, skylights, chimneys, gutters, fascia, and related roof-system components.
  • Perform approved roofing repairs within assigned scope, including shingle replacement, flashing repair, penetration sealing, pipe-boot replacement, minor ventilation corrections, and other assigned corrective work.
  • Use sound field judgment to distinguish between completed repair work, temporary mitigation, and conditions requiring further review or authorization.
  • Take clear before, during, and after photos showing the reported concern, observed condition, repair performed, and completed condition.
  • Complete required inspection reports, service tickets, repair notes, material-usage records, and photo uploads accurately and promptly.
  • Document what was observed, what was repaired, what could not be repaired, and any recommended next action.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners while on site, explaining the purpose of the visit and work completed.
  • Escalate out-of-scope conditions, safety concerns, recurring issues, concealed damage, structural concerns, and potential warranty disputes through the designated internal process.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, ladders, personal protective equipment, and service inventory in safe, organized, job-ready condition.
  • Follow Trinity safety requirements, ladder and fall-protection practices, manufacturer installation requirements, and applicable jobsite regulations.
  • Protect the homeowner’s property, maintain a clean work area, remove job-related debris, and leave each site in professional condition.
