About The Position
Galloway Roofing is hiring an experienced Roofing Sales Representative to grow our presence in the Tampa market. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who understands residential roofing, has experience working with insurance-related projects, and knows how to guide homeowners through the restoration process. You will meet with homeowners, inspect roofing systems, explain recommended solutions, and manage each customer relationship from the initial consultation through project completion.
Requirements
- Previous roofing, restoration, exterior remodeling, or home-improvement sales experience
- Experience with insurance-related roofing projects and storm-damage claims
- Knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, inspections, and estimating
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing an active sales pipeline
- Willingness to work in the field and meet homeowners during evenings or weekends when needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable climbing ladders and inspecting residential roofs
- Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, CRM, and digital estimating tools
Responsibilities
- Generate roofing leads through referrals, networking, neighborhood outreach, and local prospecting
- Meet with homeowners to evaluate their roofing and exterior needs
- Perform roof inspections and document visible storm or property damage
- Educate customers on the roofing process and available repair or replacement options
- Help homeowners understand the insurance claims process without acting as a public adjuster
- Meet with insurance adjusters when appropriate and provide accurate project documentation
- Prepare estimates, present proposals, overcome objections, and close sales
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the project
- Coordinate with production, project management, and office teams
- Keep customer records, project updates, and sales activity current in the company CRM
- Build strong referral relationships and maintain a positive reputation in the Tampa community
