About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is seeking a motivated Roofing Sales Representative for their Des Moines location. This is a 1099 commission-based position with uncapped earning potential, targeting an average annual income of $70,000–$150,000+, with top performers earning over $200,000+. The role involves significant field work, including door-to-door canvassing, storm outreach, and building relationships with homeowners. Shamrock provides comprehensive training, operational support, and opportunities for advancement. This is an ideal role for individuals who are self-motivated, enjoy face-to-face sales, and want the freedom to manage their own territory and earnings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable with door-to-door sales and self-directed lead generation.
• Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and lift up to 50 lbs; must not be afraid of heights.
• Must be able to transport a ladder in your vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, coachable, and disciplined.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Cell phone required.
• 1-2 years prior roofing or construction sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through door-to-door canvassing, storm outreach, referrals, and community networking.
• Conduct roof, gutter, and siding inspections and document damage accurately.
• Educate homeowners on roofing solutions and Shamrock's services.
• Prepare and present project proposals, close sales, and collect signed contracts.
• Manage projects from contract signing through completion, serving as the homeowner's primary point of contact.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle to drive referrals and repeat business.
