Advanced Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Roofing Production Assistant I to join their team. This role involves performing various roofing duties, including roof tear-offs, material transport, and maintaining a clean work environment. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience with welding and use of cutting torches
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
• Successful Background Check
• Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
• Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
• Able to pass a government background check per project requirements
• Knowledge of basic roofing tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
• Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing upon reasonable suspicion or any other regulatory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform roofing duties associated with roof tear offs: scraping with force, shovelling heavy material, transporting material
• Remove clutter on roof while maintaining a clean and neat work environment
• Transport hot tar from kettle to work area
• Clean and maintain roofing equipment
• Performs all other duties as assigned
