About The Position

We are looking for a Laborer with Roofing Experience to support crews on industrial roofing repairs, maintenance, and modifications in Fort McMurray. Work is primarily on administration buildings, maintenance shops, and ATCO trailer complexes within active industrial sites. This is a great fit for someone with solid roofing experience who enjoys hands-on repair work and working in a team environment. Please note this a contract role until October 15th. The shift is 6 days on/1 day off - 10/12 Hr/Day in Fort McMurray.

Requirements

• Previous roofing experience required (commercial/industrial preferred)
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all conditions
• Valid CSTS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and maintain site access (D&A testing, orientations, etc.)
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to take direction

Nice To Haves

• Experience with membrane and/or torch-on systems is an asset
• Fall Protection certification is an asset (can be provided if needed)
• Valid driver’s license is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead and crew with roofing repairs and service work
• Perform tasks on: Membrane systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC), Torch-on (modified bitumen) systems, Leak detection and minor repairs
• Help with removals, prep work, patching, and detailing
• Support tie-ins, penetrations, and small modification scopes
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures
