About The Position
The Roofing Crew Team Lead is responsible for leading a crew in the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation and repair of residential roofing systems, including asphalt shingles and gutter systems. This position ensures projects are completed on time, meet company quality standards, and provide excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in residential roofing, including shingle installation and gutter systems.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read work orders and follow project specifications.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate company truck and tow a dump trailer
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably at heights in varying weather conditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a roofing crew on residential job sites.
- Install, repair, and inspect asphalt shingle roofs and gutter systems.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate with project managers and homeowners regarding project progress and any issues.
- Verify materials, equipment, and tools are available and used properly.
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining quality workmanship.
