About The Position

JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to build a career in commercial roofing. Previous roofing experience is not required. This role offers the opportunity to learn a skilled trade while working outdoors and at heights, as part of a team. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver's license required
Ability to safely work at heights and climb ladders
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Nice To Haves

Previous roofing or construction experience is a plus, but not required.
High school diploma or GED not required

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems and accessories.
Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and fall protection.
Learn to work with a variety of commercial roofing systems and materials.
Learn the safe and proper use of roofing tools, equipment, and materials.
Follow instructions from Foremen, Crew Managers, and experienced roofers.
Assist crew members with daily roofing tasks and jobsite needs.
Learn to recognize the next steps in roofing installations as your skills and experience develop.
Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Perform other roofing and project-related duties as assigned.
