About The Position

Simon Roofing is hiring a commercial roofer to work with a professional crew installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial low-slope and industrial roofing systems. The role involves using roofing tools and equipment, handling materials, setting up fall protection, and helping complete jobs safely and efficiently. The work is hands-on and physical, performed outdoors and at heights, with travel and stays out of town for 3–4 weeks at a time. The company offers year-round work, paid travel time, paid hotels and per diem, and opportunities for training and advancement into roles such as lead, foreman, superintendent, safety, or operations.

Requirements

Be hardworking, dependable, and safety-minded.
Have commercial roofing or related construction experience.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
Be able to travel and stay out of town for 3–4 weeks at a time.
Be comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
Know roofing materials, tools, and installation practices.
Have a valid driver's license for company-driving positions.
Be able to pass a required background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Regularly lift and move 50–100 lbs.
Climb ladders up to 40 feet.
Bend, kneel, stand, and work for extended periods.
Work outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions.
