About The Position

The Rollins facilitator is a key member of the implementation team responsible for driving the transformation of language and literacy practices across the continuum, birth-to-grade 5. Facilitators provide professional development, coaching, modeling, and consultation to strengthen instructional quality and assessment practices to leaders and educators, ensuring tiered instruction and interventions are effectively implemented. Working collaboratively with early learning directors, district leaders, principals, and instructional coaches, the Facilitator builds teacher capacity through professional learning and ongoing support, creating opportunities that significantly enhance educators’ knowledge of language and literacy practices and positively impact children’s literacy outcomes. Guided by the Rollins Center coaching and implementation models, this position plays a critical role in establishing literacy infrastructure at both the system and classroom levels, ultimately changing the trajectory of students’ lives through improved language and literacy development. The Language and Literacy Instructional Facilitator directly supports district leaders, directors, teachers, and all child-facing adults in Birth to Pre K settings to strengthen language and literacy instruction through a cohesive coaching ecosystem that supports adult learning and sustainable practice.
