About The Position

Assists with setup and operations of assigned production table. Follow instructions of Lead Operator and perform the following duties. Must fold, package, and load material to specifications described on each item. Conforms to the proper reading and understanding of WTB production schedule and packaging. Performs visual inspection of fiber and finished rolls. Removing all processed waste to its designated area. Deliver scrap bags to Line 8 for reprocessing. Ensure knowledge of packaging materials and stock areas for each material. Complies with all safety rules and requirements and refers any unresolved safety issues to the Shift Manager. Ensure great housekeeping and organizational skills of production line. Ensure great communication between team members.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to communicate and work well in teams.
  • Able to take direction.
  • Able to read and understand production requirements, inventory, scanning, label ID, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to identify situations or issues to report for resolution.
  • Able to communicate issues or situations and know where to go for problem resolution.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm demeanor.
  • Follows company and safety rules, policies, practices and procedures.
  • Perform Basic Math functions (count, add, subtract, & fractions).
  • Read and interpret tape measure.
  • Operations of various production software programs to perform equipment setup and make data entries.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years in packing manufacturing environment.
