About The Position

Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor committed to providing quality fuels, lubricants, and superior service to customers who operate heavy equipment, generators, automotive and truck fleets, and more. We offer ultra-low sulfur diesel for on-road and off-road use, biodiesel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), gasoline, ethanol, E85, and kerosene, as well as a full line of quality lubricants. Since 1947, the Moffitt brand has been synonymous with great service. Moffitt Services is looking to expand our team in our Cypress, TX, location. We are currently hiring a Day shift position to meet our growing business and customer needs. We are a family-owned and operated company and are looking for quality drivers to join our growing team. Requirements

Minimum 5 years of verifiable driving experience
Minimum 3 years of tanker experience
Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
Familiarity with DOT regulations
Has a reliable cell phone and is able to operate GPS functions (Dispatch and GPS coordinates)
Clean MVR and Background.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements (Required)

Nice To Haves

Availability to travel for disaster response is a plus

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain a Commercial Rollback Truck to transport and deliver tanks and/or a wide assortment of lubricants to various client locations.
Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
Load and unload tanks and lubricants using appropriate equipment and following established safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including locations, products delivered, and customer signatures.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.
Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
