Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with no restrictions.
Must be able to operate both manual and automatic trucks.
At least 2 years of work experience with a stable work history, preferably in a driving role.
Ability to lift 50 plus pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Garbage truck experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a garbage truck on assigned routes to collect solid waste.
Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections including fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Handle a physically demanding role including loading and unloading, sometimes without helpers.
Operate hydraulic controls to lift and load refuse and dispose at designated facilities.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
