About The Position
Clearwater Structures Inc. is seeking a safe and responsible AZ Driver to operate our Roll-off Truck. Clearwater Structures Inc. is a general contractor and industry leader in the heavy civil construction sector, specializing in bridge construction and rehabilitation, with multiple divisions across Ontario. This role is for our East Ontario Region (Ottawa and surrounding area).
Requirements
- AZ Driver’s license
- Current and clean drivers abstract and CVOR
- Minimum of 3 years of AZ driving experience
- Experience loading and unloading of heavy equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Willingness and ability to work various hours/shifts depending on project demands (some nightwork required)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid communication skills
- Positive attitude with a solid work ethic
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Existing knowledge of construction equipment and projects
- Ability to work 50-55/hour work week
Nice To Haves
- Prior Roll-Off experience
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of a Roll-off truck
- Minor maintenance and cleanliness of truck and equipment
- Daily Inspection of truck and pre-and post-trip inspection
- Ensure proper tracking and documentation of activity log
- Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met
- Comply with the company and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures
- Work various hours depending on job demands and weather
