About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to operate roll off trucks and transport and deliver containers to various job sites in Savannah, Georgia. The role involves providing timely, efficient service while following safety and regulatory guidelines. The driver will work outdoors in various weather conditions, spend significant time driving, and may need to load and unload containers manually.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher, with appropriate endorsements.
• At least one year of holding a valid CDL.
• Proven experience operating roll off trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver containers to and from customer locations.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Secure loads to prevent shifting or spillage during transport.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Follow local, state, and federal vehicle operation and safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
