About The Position

Waste Connections is hiring an experienced, safety-focused Roll Off Truck Driver at its Altamonte Springs, Florida location, serving the greater Orlando area. The driver operates a roll-off truck on assigned routes, transports waste containers to disposal sites, and provides service to residential and commercial customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, totaling approximately 55–60 hours per week. Pay is $24–$28 or more per hour, with overtime.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with no restrictions; must be able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
• At least 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Solid work ethic and ability to thrive in a team.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and work outdoors in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a roll-off truck on assigned routes.
• Follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions.
• Load, transport, and dump waste containers at disposal sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluids, tires, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Provide excellent service to residential and commercial customers.
