About The Position
A Technician completes the daily tasks that are associated with working in a roll shop such as and not limited to housekeeping, chocking/dechocking rolls, grinding rolls, and overhead crane rigging and movement.
Requirements
- High School/Equivalent
- Two to Three years of experience in a specific equipment function is preferred
- No supervisory experience is required
Nice To Haves
- Crane and forklift certification is preferred – in house training provided to obtain certification
Responsibilities
- Maintain housekeeping in Area Of Responsibility(A.O.R)
- Maintain acceptable attendance
- Willingness to learn new tasks/jobs
- Fork truck operation
- Take direction from lead man or supervisors
- Maintain time keeping documentation
- Wear required PPE
