About The Position
Engineered Materials Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roll Grind Operator for our 2nd shift (includes 10% shift premium). This position involves setting up and operating a variety of precision grinding machines to perform production grinding of machine work rolls to close tolerances, where grinding methods and sequences are predetermined and established tooling is provided.
Requirements
- Related machine experience required
Nice To Haves
- High School or Equivalency Diploma preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs operations such as grinding compound angles, internal and external spherical radii, contours and long exact tapers on products
- Selects, mounts and aligns various specialized attachments and standard tooling
- Interprets blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications.
- Dresses trues and shapes grinding wheels
