About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Paper Roll Grab Operator to support our corrugator operations. This position is responsible for staging and delivering paper rolls to ensure efficient production on the Singlefacer and Double Backer. The operator also assists with equipment monitoring and other production support tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with forklifts or material‑handling equipment
• Ability to safely operate clamp attachments or willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the production team
• Safety‑sensitive position requiring the ability to remain in a constant state of alertness and work safely at all times
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed based on business demands
• Ability to work a rotating shift when required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work in a production environment with moving equipment and personnel
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals in various roles
• Ability to read a tape measure or ruler
• Strong basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Locate rolls based on the production schedule and stage them in the correct sequence
• Assist the Singlefacer and Double Backer operators by positioning rolls onto the dolly
• Monitor the starch system to support proper machine operation
• Change propane tanks on the roll grab
• Operate and maintain the ALAR system
• Operate a forklift to transport and position paper rolls as needed
• Use front‑end clamp attachments to safely lift, rotate, and move paper rolls
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
