About The Position

This role is responsible for executing changeovers for all roll‑fed and inline equipment with specified materials within target time. The technician will also train and support less experienced operators in approved, safe procedures, help update training manuals and JSA documentation, and perform basic mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. Additionally, the technician will influence capital decisions on machinery upgrades/replacements, drive tooling improvements and modifications with cross‑functional partners, and work with Sales and Tool Design to validate new tools for efficient performance on WNA lines. Coordination with Process Engineers, leads, Maintenance, Operators, and Packers is expected to reduce setup time, maximize throughput, and eliminate scrap. The technician will also be responsible for dialing in machines to transition tooling from setup to stable production.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a manufacturing maintenance/mechanic/technician/tooling capacity.
  • Experience with 480V 3‑phase electrical systems and machine controls.
  • Proven experience with manufacturing methods and process improvement programs/procedures.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting; willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Safety mindset, continuous learner, and completion of assigned training.

Nice To Haves

  • VFD and PLC exposure preferred (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens a plus).
