About The Position
The Roll Coat Operator is responsible for operating an adhesive roll-coating machine, preparing and maintaining the machine, staging raw materials, and performing data tracking and computer entries. This role also involves reporting on materials and quality checks, operating a hi-lo, and setting/operating press equipment. The operator must adhere to and enforce all safety policies, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely completion of work, reduced lead times, and a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blue-prints
- Ability to read a tape-measure
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance
- Basic math skills
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability be on feet and active for long periods of time
- Effective communication with fellow team members
- Ability to adhere to and maintain quality standards
- Timeliness of work completion
- Compliance and execution with company policies
- Limit lost time
- Reduction in Lead time to the customer from order to delivery

Nice To Haves

- Machine Operation experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
