About The Position

The ROI specialist is responsible for processing medical records requests while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable state and federal regulations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for release of information requests and is responsible for retrieving, reviewing, scanning, and releasing patient records accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred.
• Ideal experience: Medical records, ROI, HIM, Patient Access, Registration, Referrals, or Healthcare Administration.
