About The Position

As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. The ROE Pharmacist will be reporting to the East Central Kentucky Market Director of Pharmacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Pharmacy License in the state of Kentucky
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
• Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.
