Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of communications and/or marketing experience or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Rodeo experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all team marketing, rodeo poster creations, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony content, Rodeo Programs, Sponsor Management marketing, and Annual NIRA Rodeo content.
  • Create and manage all social media outlets for the Rodeo Team.
  • Manages operating accounts, and serves as an allocator for purchasing.
  • Coordinates purchasing and bidding for the rodeo in accordance with university purchasing policies and procedures for the state, sponsored programs/grants, and auxiliary entities.
  • Tracks feed, supplies, and equipment deliveries to maintain compliance with university purchasing procedures.
  • Will review all invoices and handle input of information into Aggie Buy and other programs.
  • Reviews and manages operating accounts and monthly budget reports.
  • Tracks scholarships, and ensures proper routing for signature(s).
  • Assists with procurement card expense reports and travel reports as needed.
  • Identifies, approaches and involves suitable sponsors in the planning and execution of a rodeo event.
  • Oversee sponsors for the team and all Rodeo events.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings upon request.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
