About The Position

This role involves the installation of reinforcing steel, often at considerable heights, requiring the use of tools such as pliers and cutting torches, and the ability to read a tape measure. The work environment is exclusively outdoors, exposing the individual to various weather conditions. The position demands alert individuals with excellent balance and physical strength, classified as heavy work, requiring frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds. Activities include standing, walking, bending over narrow work surfaces, and balancing on structures and ladders while performing manual tasks.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to balance on reinforced steel structures and ladders.
Must be able to balance while standing/walking/crawling on narrow work surfaces.
Must be able to perform lifting activities and manual work.
Must be able to work in all weather extremes.
Must have excellent balance and physical strength.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 75 pounds of material.
Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
Must be able to balance on reinforced steel structures (example; wall forms) and ladders, while performing lifting activities and manual work (example; rebar mats).
Must balance while standing/walking/crawling on narrow work surfaces in forward and sideways directions of movement.
