About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This position operates an articulating truck to safely move materials across site locations. It involves conducting daily inspections, routine equipment checks, and supporting basic plant maintenance activities. The role requires loading, transporting, and dumping materials efficiently to support production targets, while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following all site safety protocols. Effective communication with team members to coordinate site activities is also essential.

Requirements

Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly
Strong focus on safety, hazard recognition, and situational awareness
Basic mechanical understanding with the ability to identify equipment concerns
Dependable with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Clear communication skills and a proactive, solution oriented mindset
Must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check
Must be 18 years of age or older
Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment
