Requirements

• Proven experience operating relevant heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
• Ability to work in varying weather and terrain conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Ability to work well within a team environment

Nice To Haves

• CSTS 2020 and other safety certifications
• Experience in roadwork, site preparation, or heavy civil construction
• Mechanical aptitude for minor maintenance and trouble shooting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 30-ton articulated rock truck
• Haul and dump materials as directed
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
• Work closely with supervisors and other operators
• Follow all site safety procedures
• Operate compaction equipment to achieve required densities
• Perform compaction work for road building, site preparation, and civil projects
• Follow site specifications and grade requirements
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Collaborate effectively with crew members on-site
