About The Position

Linde Inc. ROC Technician Tonawanda, NY, United States | req33795 What you will enjoy doing Youwill operate multiple plants safely, reliably, and efficiently from thecentral control room to support continuous performance You shall serve as the primary board operator, ensuring optimal plantoperations and responding promptly to alarms and process upsets In this role you will communicate effectively with local plant technicians,lead technicians, engineers, and management each day You are expected to track operational trends, identify anomalies, andreview processes to maintain productivity and reliability In addition you should adjust plant settings and manage equipment start‑upand shut down activities as needed to ensure safe execution Additionally collaborate with the Pipeline Business Center to supportpipeline efficiency and stable system performance Furthermore document and log operational changes while participating inrequired administrative duties Lastly follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies for regulatedprocesses while supporting all safety, quality, environmental, and complianceinitiatives

Requirements

  • Dependability, honesty, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Ability to learn industrial processes and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams with confidence.
  • Competency in computers, Microsoft applications, email, and process control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and diagnostic skills.
  • Understanding of process control schematics.
  • Clear communication in both verbal and written formats.
  • Self-directed learning capability.
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
  • Maintain the physical ability to perform essential job functions including walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to forty-five pounds.
  • Willingness to work a twelve-hour swing shift schedule and support coverage needs as required.
