Job Description As a Robotics Researcher, you will live at the intersection of deep theory and hands-on implementation. Your primary directive is to push the boundaries of what AI and robotics can do in the physical world including bridging the gap between whiteboards and shop floors, turning high-level AI theory into tangible, autonomous action. You will lead innovative projects that encompass the full stack of physical intelligence, from high-level reasoning to low-level control, redefining what is possible in the factories of tomorrow. As a key member of the RCoE, you are encouraged to stay at the cutting edge: you will attend conferences, publish your findings, and file patents for world-first technologies. Your focus will be on building embodied intelligence including developing Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, World Models, and Reinforcement Learning (RL) frameworks that allow robots to see, reason, and manipulate the world with human-like dexterity. You will report to Sr. Manager, Mobile Robot Technology. You will work Hybrid in Waterloo, ON.
