About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Robotics Engineer with up to 5 years of experience to support the design, development, and deployment of industrial robotic systems. This role will focus on programming and operating industrial robots (including collaborative robots), integrating sensors and peripheral equipment, and contributing to automation solutions for manufacturing and R&D environments. The ideal candidate combines hands-on robotics experience with strong problem-solving skills. Experience with user interface (UI) or software development is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 0–5 years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics or automation systems
  • Experience programming or operating industrial robots or cobots
  • Basic understanding of robotics concepts such as: Kinematics, Coordinate systems, Path planning
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating sensors (vision, force, proximity) into robotic systems
  • Experience working with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
  • Exposure to human-machine interfaces (HMIs) or user interface (UI/UX) development
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or similar
  • Experience with simulation tools and CAD platforms
  • Familiarity with safety standards for industrial robotics and collaborative systems
  • Experience in manufacturing, automation, or R&D environments
  • Experience in industrial or academia chemical handling
  • UI/UX development for robotic or automation systems
  • Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) or advanced robotics frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Program, operate, and troubleshoot industrial robots and cobots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, UR, etc.)
  • Develop and optimize robot motion sequences for manufacturing and automation applications
  • Integrate ancillary equipment such as: Vision systems, Force/torque sensors, End-of-arm tooling (EOAT), Conveyors and material handling systems
  • Interface robots with PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems
  • Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting in lab environments
  • Contribute to documentation, including system layouts, work instructions, and technical reports
  • Collaborate with external parties and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated automation systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability
