JOB SUMMARY: As a Robotics Engineer at Marble, you will help lead the development and support of advanced robotics systems for our intelligent automated food processing solutions. You will work at the intersection of robotics, mechanical engineering, AI machine vision, industrial controls, and intelligent software to build automation systems capable of operating in highly variable real-world environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar experience
  • Professional experience working with robotic systems
  • Strong mechanical design skills
  • Strong hands-on problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed during system installation and commissioning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with industrial robot platforms
  • Experience developing low-level robotic programs
  • Experience designing end-of-arm tooling for robotic manipulation
  • Experience integrating robotic systems into industrial automation equipment
  • Experience with machine vision or sensor-guided robotic manipulation
  • Experience with ROS, Moveit, or similar robotics frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of robotic systems for cutting and manipulation operations
  • Design and prototype fixturing and end-of-arm tooling.
  • Collaborate with vision and controls engineers to develop perception-guided manipulation strategies
  • Integrate industrial robotic arms with conveyors, fixtures, and other automated machinery
  • Integrate robotic arms with industrial control systems, software, and automation equipment
  • Coordinate robot motion with machine operations
  • Develop calibration and coordinate transformation procedures between robots, sensors, and machines
  • Perform hands-on debugging and tuning of robotic systems during development and commissioning
  • Support commissioning of robotic systems in lab and production environments
  • Troubleshoot robotic system performance and mechanical issues
  • Document robotic system designs, integration methods, and operational procedures
  • Mentor technicians and engineers
